“Twice Upon a Time” is the first single from the upcoming album “Escape Zones” by Łukasz Pawlik, on which he is about to tackle multiple instruments, such as piano, keyboards, cello, bass guitar and drums. He invited some distinguished guests, including Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Dawid Główczewski, Łukasz Borowicki and others to appear on the album on various tracks.
The album’s premiere is expected in May 2026. Single tracks will be released on streaming platforms every 3 weeks, starting from January 30th with the track “Twice Upon a Time”, which features Łukasz Pawlik on keyboards, bass guitar, and drums, Dawid Główczewski on alto saxophone and Łukasz Borowicki on guitar.

The song is cheerful, yet nostalgic at times. Driven by a propulsive Latin-inspired groove, the track’s rhythmic foundation serves as a vibrant backdrop for the soloists to weave their own personal narratives throughout the performance, interacting with a pulse of the rhythm section, if that’s how Łukasz Pawlik’s multi-instrumental incarnations can be identified.

W utworze “Twice Upon a Time” Łukasz Pawlik nagrał ścieżki instrumentów klawiszowych, gitary basowej oraz perskusji. Na saksofonie altowym zagrał natomiast Dawid Główczewski, a na gitarze – mieszkający w Danii – Łukasz Borowicki.

Utwór jest wysoce energetyczną propozycją utrzymaną w klimacie fusion, osadzoną na rytmach latynoskich.
